HairClone’s Director and CEO, Dr Paul Kemp, has been invited to discuss “Where are we at with hair cloning?” at the 20th edition of the Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC) in Monaco from March 31st to April 2nd.

Dr Kemp will be presenting on Friday afternoon as part of the Hair Restoration Agenda, and will feature alongside other leading scientists covering the topics of prosthetic hair fibres, robotics in hair transplant surgery and the use of exosomes for hair regrowth and greying.

HairClone are a UK-based biotech company that is in the process of translating the latest scientific breakthroughs in regenerative medicine into a novel and much-needed treatment for pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia). HairClone has developed a unique method of multiplying a population of highly regenerative cells that are found within hair follicles. These cells are lost during typical pattern balding and injecting them back into the scalp has the potential to rebuild thinning hairs. This would prevent and reverse the appearance of hair loss; an innovative approach to managing the condition, which is applicable to any gender.

The AMWC attracts around 12 000 delegates from around the globe each year and aims to facilitate the exchange of multi-disciplinary knowledge to stimulate innovation. The 2022 conference is in a hybrid format and will feature the latest trends and research in aesthetics and anti-aging medicine.
