In February, HairClone Co-founder and Medical Director Dr. Bessam Farjo presented at two international conferences to discuss Hair Cloning and HairClone Follicle Banking.

Firstly, Dr. Farjo presented at the 2025 IMCAS World Congress in Paris; the second talk took place at the Spanish Society of Hair Restoration (SERECAP) within SEME in Malaga.

The 2025 IMCAS World Congress is a key international event for specialists in dermatology, plastic surgeons, and medical doctors and specialists. With over 1000 speakers and over 20,100 individuals in attendance, the event is a leading congress for individuals within that sector. The conference also had live augmented surgeries, anatomical dissections and cadaver anatomy workshops.

Dr. Farjo presented within IMCAS’s “Hair and regeneration: Spinning the hairs of life and immortality” session; his talk, named “History of hair cloning’, discussed the research so far that has lead to the current understanding behind hair rejuvenation. He also discussed hair follicle rejuvenation using dermal papilla cells, which is the aim of HairClone’s cell therapy, and cryopreservation of hair follicles, a service HairClone also offers.

At the Spanish Society of Hair Restoration (SERECAP), on Friday the 14th February, Dr. Farjo presented “Hair Clone. Hair Follicle Banking” in addition to his talk in the afternoon on “Pitfalls in hair transplant: where it can go wrong”. Dr Farjo is a renowned hair transplant surgeon at the Farjo Hair Institute, therefore his insights on both hair transplantation and HairClone’s banking process make him a valuable speaker at conferences.

There were a range of presentations, workshops, and symposiums for aesthetic medicine taking place across the multi-day conference. This year marks the 24th World Congress of Aesthetic Medicine, and the 40th Congress of the Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine.
